ORGANIC COTTON
We only use organic cotton, which uses less water compared to producing standard cotton. In addition, no chemicals are used in the production and ensures that no harmful chemicals end up in the ground or adjacent rivers, lakes or seas. The waste from cotton picking is reused in the animal feed industry.
The certifications ensure the fair, sustainable quality of the materials and the fair working conditions. We have completely avoided using polyester in our streetwear since 2024.
The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is a world-leading certification organization for the processing of textiles made from organically produced natural fibers and is based on both ecological and social criteria.
This is one of the strictest certifications that ensures that the cotton is grown organically and without the use of genetically modified seeds and harmful chemicals. The traceability of raw materials is ensured from the first processing step to the end customer through transaction certificates.
The Organic Content Standard (OCS) is a voluntary international standard used to verify the presence and quantity of organically produced material in a final product. It traces the path of the raw material from the source to the end product.
The Global Recycled Standard (GRS) is the world's leading standard for recycled textiles. It applies to the entire supply chain and includes traceability, environmental protection, social requirements, chemical ingredients and labeling. All recycled cotton, recycled polyester and recycled nylon materials that we use are GRS certified.
The Standard 100 by OEKO-TEX® is one of the world's best-known labels for textiles tested for harmful substances. This certification confirms that the products of Gains and Roses do not contain harmful substances that are harmful to health or the environment. Standard 100 also takes potentially harmful substances into account, even if they are not yet officially regulated, and ensures that our products meet the requirements of the EU REACH regulation.
The PETA-Approved Vegan logo helps consumers to recognize vegan fashion at a glance without any animal suffering. Our products are made from 100% vegan materials and 0% animal fibers. This is how we ensure that animals are not harmed.
